Best Digital Camera 2010 - Samsung NX10

Cnet reviews the Samsung NX10 as:
Samsung has positioned the NX system as an alternative to SLR and Micro Four Thirds cameras, or an "SLR-lite" if you will. The NX10 mostly succeeds, with a few operational quirks here and there preventing it from being top of the class.

Fig :Samsung NX10 Digital Camera

Good: APS-C-sized sensor • Good image quality if you're prepared to tweak the defaults • Compact and lightweight with pancake lens

Bad: No video record button • Proprietary lenses and accessories are thin on the ground • No in-body image stabilisation

DCRP reviews the Samsung NX10 as;
Samsung's bold entry into the increasingly competitive interchangeable lens camera market. It's designed to go head-to-head with the likes of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G2 and, to a lesser extent, the more compact (and viewfinder-less) Olympus E-PL1 and Sony NEX-5 cameras. Samsung never really got any traction selling regular digital SLRs, so now they're trying their hand at an ILC. Based on my experiences with the NX10, I think Samsung has a good chance of success in this space.

ITReviews reviews the Samsung NX10 as;
“If manufacturers of existing Micro Four Thirds cameras thought they had cornered the hybrid market, they’ll now have to accept that there’s a new player on the block with this new camera from Samsung that offers excellent value for money and superb quality images.”

TechRadar  reviews the Samsung NX10 as;
"With the advent of the advent of Micro Four Thirds-based hybrid cameras, Samsung's seen a fresh opportunity to take some market share from Canon, Nikon and the rest. But we need to remind readers from the outset that the Samsung NX10 is not based on Micro Four Thirds technology."

RegHardware reviews the Samsung NX10 as;
“I was surprised by the outstanding build and image quality of the company’s latest new-concept release…Free from the knotty mirror return mechanism of a DSLR, yet with a decent-sized sensor and an attractive price, the NX10 is definitely a winner. ”

Photoxels reviews the Samsung NX10 as;
The Samsung NX10 has very good image quality including good low-light performance at ISO 100 with good detail preserved.
One of the advantage of a DIL is the ability to use interchangeable lenses suited for specific jobs. The Samsung NX10 comes with 3 possible kit lenses: a 30mm [46.2mm equiv.] F2 pancake lens, a 18-55mm [27.7-84.7mm equiv.] 3x zoom F3.5-5.6 OIS lens, and a 50-200mm [77-308mm equiv.] 4x zoom F4-5.6 ED OIS lens. “

TrustedReviews reviews the Samsung NX10 as;
There is one crucial difference between the NX10 and its two market rivals. While both Olympus and Panasonic use the smaller Micro Four Thirds sensor in their cameras, the Samsung NX10 uses a 14.6 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, the same size as the majority of conventional digital SLRs. In theory this could give the NX10 a significant advantage in picture quality, with the possibility of superior dynamic range and low-light performance.”
